History

-The origins of the company go back to the beginning of 1930, when Mr. Celso Álvarez Martínez, grandfather of the current CEO, emigrated from Spain to Mexico. He brought together a group of young professionals to solve the construction necessities of a wide group of Spanish born entrepreneurs taking their first steps in the food industry in Mexico City.

-In 1935 he executes the expansion and remodeling of the most important grain mill at that time: Fábrica de Harinas El Éuskaro.

-In 1940 and 1950 the industrial work mentioned before is still carried out, and construction of residential and commercial buildings is added to the company’s services.

-In 1960 Mr. Fernando Álvarez Cano is appointed as CEO and works closely with the team his father assembled, highlighting the participation of Mr. Hilario Prieto Calderón as head of the structural design department.

-In 1972 the company is given the name CONSTRUCCIONES FASA and continues to evolve, becoming the great family-owned business we know today.
